New Medications and Updates For the Prevention of Type 1 Diabetes

Session Description

For decades, we have been waiting for new evidence and discoveries to prevent and delay type 1 diabetes. In 2022, the FDA approved the first medication to delay the onset of type 1 diabetes. One year into its clinical use, this session will review the data that led to this medication approval and will discuss practical tips for how clinicians can implement it into their clinical practice.
