Role of the Prefrontal Cortex in Weight Gain During Times of Food Insecurity

Session Description

On the 75th Anniversary of NIDDK, this Early-Stage Investigator symposium recognizes the creativity and scientific contributions of our next generation of researchers. Each speaker is early in their career and funded by NIDDK/NIH. The focus of the symposium is “Thinking Outside the Box to Cure Diabetes in the 21st Century”. Each speaker will address conceptually and/or methodologically innovative research that questions existing paradigms and/or explores under-studied areas in diabetes research.
