Medical Management of Acromegaly

Session Description

Transsphenoidal surgical resection is generally first line therapy for acromegaly. Pharmacologic therapy is indicated in patients with persistent biochemical growth hormone excess postoperatively or when surgery is not an option. This session will discuss medical management of acromegaly.
