Therapeutic Inertia in Diabetes Management

Session Description

The management of patients with diabetes continues to evolve, and new evidence informs recent changes to the personalized goals and targets of diabetes. However, despite the evidence, timely therapy adjustment in patients not reaching their personal goals remains a significant challenge. Overcoming and understanding factors contributing to therapeutic inertia for patients with diabetes is a critical clinical challenge to address.
